Black History Tours presents history in an interactive, unique way. Whether you’re visiting the hotel balcony in Memphis where Dr. Martin Luther King was assassinated, or the Apollo Theatre in Harlem, our engaging tours are memorable, fascinating, and influential. Students are given the opportunity to experience black history in a positive context, discovering the tremendous contributions African Americans have made to America and the world. Our tour packages range from two days to two weeks and are all inclusive: transportation, lodging, dining and attractions.

Kingian Nonviolence Black History Tour*
Explore 400 years of African American history, education, and cultural exposure during this unforgettable experience. When your group of middle and/or highschoolers participate in our Kingian Nonviolence Youth Leadership Workshop, they are eligible to receive college credits transferable to their academic transcript. This is a great opportunity for your young adults to get a head-start on gaining college credits while learning African American History like never before.

Multi-Cultural Tolerance Tour – Tampa, FL
This tour fuses Black history, Hispanic history, and Holocaust history into one phenomenal experience. You’ll learn the different challenges that different cultures have faced and how these events still face these communities today. This is a great opportunity to expand awareness.

This is Black History Tours’ “Rite of Passage Tour” depicting Underground Railroad and Civil Rights history. Every African American family should take their children on this tour so they might fully understand the struggle and sacrifice Black Americans made in order for future generations to prosper. Visit historical sites in Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia and Ohio, including the Martin Luther King National Civil Rights Museum—arguably the single most important Black History site in the country. Black History Tour – Key West, Florida
Explore Key West, America’s only city in the Caribbean. On this tour, you’ll learn how slaves were repatriated from Key West through Curacao and back to Africa, as well as other historical facts during this time. Tour Mel Fisher’s and Ernest Hemingway’s Museums and feel the relaxed vibe that permeates the air. Key West is a fantastic place for a one- or two-night tour.

Black History Tour – Jackson, Mississippi to St. Louis, Missouri
Immerse yourself in the rich black history sites west of the Mississippi. Visit historical sites that commemorate the Little Rock 9, Brown vs. the Board of Education, Emmett Till, and others in Jackson, Hattiesburg, Little Rock, and St. Louis.
