These much needed services lay the foundation to become the global industry leader as a service provider to the government and organizations seeking assistance managing alternative education through cultural exposure.

Black History Tours/Open Your Eyes Foundation provides tours specifically to assist in the education of a transparent America. It has always been our mission to expose today’s youth to the diversity of American history, mainly African American history. BHT/OYEF takes learning to the next level; we give students the opportunity to experience history and the education of tolerance. With the partnership and support of organizational partners, we are able to promote cultural learning and historical knowledge through our non-violence workshops, tolerance seminars, diversity trainings, and educational tours.

We have developed a business model utilizing corporate and social philanthropy combined with government and community based organizational dollars. This provides real-life, cultural exposure when infused through youth enrichment programs. These holistic programs are sustainable and deliver measurable results helping remove cultural apathy and enabling our youth to become productive members of society.

We strive to bridge the gap between those leaders who control access to advocate youth enrichment programs and the youth themselves. We’ve built relationships with the Florida MLK Jr. Institute of Nonviolence, Florida Commission on Human Relations, and Commissioners Task Force on African American History.
